I provide workshops, seminars, and personal coaching/consulting services on intercultural communication and cultural adaptation. Courses can be customized to satisfy the particular needs of the clients. The workshops and seminars on each of the following can be developed as one-day or two-day programs depending on the depth and breadth of the information to be covered.

Presentation across Culture This is designed especially for speakers who are preparing for presentations to audiences from different cultural backgrounds from their own. You will learn how to bridge the cultural gaps between the audience and yourself, as well as general presentation strategies including developing clear points, supporting points with evidence and strong logic, organizing messages, connecting with an audience, attention grabbing strategies and making an effective delivery.
Adaptation to New Cultural Environments
This workshop is designed for those who have just been relocated to or who are planning to relocate to a new cultural environment. You will learn how to enhance your intercultural communication competence with the knowledge of different cultural values and the strategies on how to reach your communication partners, overcoming cultural barriers.
You will also learn the knowledge and skills on how to manage culture shock constructively and how to synthesize the cultural differences to build a unique and well adjusted culture of your own in your new environment.
Understanding Culture in Communication
This workshop is designed for those who want to understand cultural values and norms that affect the way Koreans/Americans communicate in business and social settings. Discussions on business and social etiquette in the Korean and American cultures will be included.
Managing Conflict in Intercultural Relationships
Conflict is an unavoidable reality in human relationships. When dealt with properly, conflict can actually strengthen our relationships. This workshop will enhance the participants’ understanding of the different approaches to conflict in different cultures and help them adopt collaborative approaches to conflict based on this cultural understanding.
